At Mensana, our goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized, and evidence-based mental health care in a safe, comfortable setting.
Supporting individuals and families through complex and often challenging moments is something we approach with seriousness and gratitude. We work with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of conditions. Our holistic approach integrates careful diagnostic assessment with medication management and a range of evidence-based treatments.

Who We Are
Compassionate experts you can trust
Seeking psychiatric or psychotherapeutic services often means sharing deeply personal experiences, navigating uncertainty, or asking for help during a difficult time. We all want compassionate listeners and helpers during these struggles.
At Mensana Collaborative, compassionate care begins with the first interaction with our staff and extends through every evaluation, therapy session, treatment decision, and conversation with patients, clients, and families. We listen without judgment, take concerns seriously, and approach each person with curiosity, respect, and an understanding of the individual behind the symptoms. Our goal is to pair clinical expertise with genuine human connection, creating a trusted relationship in which patients, clients, and families feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their care.
Unique life events require teamwork
Collaboration is in our name because it's central to our practice.
We view mental health care as a partnership. First, we partner with you, understanding patients and clients as active participants in their care. Next, Mensana's clinicians work closely with each other, integrating medical expertise with therapeutic insight and real-world context to provide care that is both comprehensive and sustainable. Finally, we encourage collaboration with trusted members of each patient’s and client’s support system, including, when appropriate, their families, schools, and other providers.
Our focus on collaboration allows for a deeper understanding of each individual and supports more precise, effective treatment.

The difference between a Psychiatrist, Psychologist, and Psychotherapist
Mental Health is complex and finding the right treatment can sometimes be confusing. Understanding the different roles of mental health experts can help you make informed decisions about your care.
Medical Doctors (MD or DO) specializing in mental health
Role in Care: Psychiatrists are physicians who specialize in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions. Like a heart surgeon, OBGYN, or any other specialized doctor, they attend medical school and residency, and some pursue further training in a fellowship to be the most specialized experts in their field. Psychiatrists are uniquely trained to understand the interaction between brain, body, and behavior. Their medical training allows them to evaluate complex or overlapping conditions and guide treatment at the highest level of clinical mental health care available.
