Meet Dr. Katz
Rebecca I. Katz, M.D. is a Child & Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist, Double Board-Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). With attention to diagnostic detail, Dr. Katz provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. She focuses on treating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, mood disorders, and perinatal mental health.
After graduating from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Katz specialized in Psychiatry, completing her Residency Training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She followed residency with a two-year Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at University of Colorado Division of Child Psychiatry and Children’s Hospital Colorado Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
In addition to medication management, Dr. Katz incorporates Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Supportive Therapies in her practice.
I’m passionate about helping children, families, and individuals navigate their difficult challenges, especially during the current national mental health crisis. It’s a privilege to support people on their journeys.

Bridging Medicine & Education
Before studying medicine, Dr. Katz earned Master’s Degrees in Education and Biomedical Sciences, teaching high school biology, anatomy, and physiology for six years. Dr. Katz explains, “As an educator, I believe knowledge motivates action. Educating patients about the tools they need for success is crucial for effective healthcare. Fostering a collaborative clinic where patients feel informed and empowered equips them to take an active role in their health journey.”
